Aroma Fun
(or just for the Smell of It)

By using pure essential oils throughout the day you can get the cumulative benefits of spontaneous powerful alchemical synergies. There are many ways to do this. You can use bath, body and food products that contain essential oils. You can grow plants, flowers, herbs and living trees in your home and yard. Essential oils can be enhanced by using herbal teas derived from the same plants. If you refer to Sensual Synergies* you can match up some products with oils that are in your basic constitutional blend.

For the fun of it I took a day in my life to demonstrate all the 17 ways I was able to integrate essential oils into my day. At the end I show what it cost me at the prices we offer on this site.

I start my day with morning meditation, lighting an organic Palm Wax candle scented with Frankincense, Labdanum & Myrrh and waking myself up by splashing on a blend of lemon and clary sage.

Next, I take a sauna and throw a few drops of eucalyptus into a water bottle that I spray onto the heated stones.

Warming in the sauna is a perfect time to do some yoga or stretching and to rub in some oils but instead I noticed I was getting a little overheated so I sprayed my face with lavender floral water.

I brushed my teeth with Tom's Fennel toothpaste, finishing with a drop of anise on my tongue. I had a little too much of Bella Big Canyon Zinfandel last night and have just a touch of a hangover.

A friend made me some soap using some high altitude French lavender that I grow in my garden.

For shampoo I use unscented liquid castile soap and add some of the oils in my basic constitutional blend.

My hair is graying and I've noticed that a blend of Rosemary and ____, rubbed into the scalp minimizes the graying.

I make up a quart of my own special brew of Chai tea. Drinking teas throughout the day is the only way I've been able to get 8 glasses of water down.

Just before dressing I splash on one of my personal EO colognes based on my constitutional needs.

At work when I get tired of too many phone calls and too much computer time, I can make some tea and add some essential oils to create the desired effect I want.

At the end of a run with my dog, a little bike ride or exercise on the Bowflex working the oils into my tired muscles.

I'm tired and yet I can't switch my mind off from the things I was dealing with during the day so I sprayed the plants (the jungle) around my tub with water, mixed the relaxing bath blend and soaked for an hour.

At dinner I realized I'm out of lemons for the salad dressing so I added a few drops of expressed lemon oil.

As I'm winding down, reading in the evening, my feet seem cold so I massage them with Jamu Bali Spice Deep Ginger for a warming effect.

Making Love with my partner is a perfect time to anoint her with the oils that increase sensuality and responsiveness.

Before nighttime meditation again instead of using incense I just don't like the smoke I use the powder.

I'm still restless so I rub some angelica on my forehead to help me sleep.

Well, I had a lot of aroma fun and it seemed that I used a lot of oils but I only spent $4.80 in pure essential oils.
